The complete long travel rear panhard bar package — frame mount, axle mount and the 41.5" adjustable bar in one kit. Cycles up to 21 inches of rear wheel travel, depending on the shock and spring package you run.
Getting more travel out of a five link rear is not just a question of longer shocks. The panhard bar has to move and lengthen too, or it drags the axle sideways at the extremes of the stroke. This kit changes both mounting locations and supplies the bar built for them.
Welds to Gen 2, Gen 3 and 2015-up F-150 frames. Does not work with stock Gen 3 rear spring buckets — long travel builds only, where the spring and shocks have been relocated.
What Is In The Kit
Everything the panhard side of a long travel rear needs, in one part number:
- Long travel frame mount kit — welds to the frame, with a 1" tube cross member spanning between the frame rails for support
- Long travel axle-side mount — welds to the axle housing
- 41.5" fabricated adjustable panhard bar — 1.5" chromoly tube with an FK rod end and an FK uniball
All steel components are 3/16" thick and MIG welded. Buying the pieces separately? They are listed individually as the frame mount, the axle mount and the 41.5" bar.
How Much Travel Does It Allow?
Up to 21 inches of rear wheel travel — but read that carefully. This kit removes the panhard bar as the limiting factor. What you actually get depends on the shock and spring package carrying the rest of the rear suspension.
For reference, here is where the Gen 3 rear sits at each level:
- 15" — billet or fabricated links with the factory rear shock
- 17" — through-the-bed bed cage kit, shock mounted directly
- 19" — long travel cantilever kit, everything under the bed floor
- Up to 21" — with this panhard kit and a shock package to match

Why The Panhard Bar Limits Travel
The panhard bar holds the rear axle centered side to side, and it does that by swinging through an arc. The shorter the bar and the tighter its arc, the more the axle moves laterally as the suspension cycles.
At stock travel the arc is tight enough that the sideways movement stays small. Add travel and that same bar sweeps the axle noticeably across — you feel it as the rear of the truck stepping out under you over big terrain, and it puts load into the mounts that they were never designed for.
Moving both mounting points and going to 41.5 inches flattens the arc across the whole stroke. That is what lets the rest of the suspension use the travel it has.
Fitment — Read This Before Ordering
Frames: welds to Gen 2 Raptor, Gen 3 and Gen 3.5 Raptor, and 2015-up F-150 frames. Gen 3 and Gen 3.5 covers model years 2021 through 2026 including the Raptor R.
Long travel builds only. This kit does not work with stock Gen 3 rear spring buckets. It is for builds where the spring and shocks have been relocated — the long travel cantilever kit, the through-the-bed kits, or the Gen 2 to Gen 3 long travel conversion.

Installation
This kit requires substantial fabrication and welding and should only be installed by a qualified fabricator. Both mounts weld on, and their positions are what set your rear geometry — there is no adjusting around a bracket placed wrong.
The bar itself bolts in once the mounts are done, and gets set to length with the truck at its finished ride height, on the ground rather than hanging on a lift.

Questions
Will this work on a stock Gen 3 rear end?
No. It requires the spring and shocks to have been relocated. On a truck with factory spring buckets it will not fit.
Do I get the panhard bar with this kit?
Yes. The 41.5" adjustable bar is included along with both mounts. That is the difference between this kit and buying the mounts on their own.
Will it really give me 21 inches of travel?
It removes the panhard bar as the limit. The travel you actually get comes from your shock and spring package — this kit lets the suspension cycle that far without the axle wandering.
Does it fit a Gen 2 Raptor or a regular F-150?
