Most taillights are easily removed in less than 20 seconds, using only a screwdriver! New model taillights often have sensors inside making them very expensive to replace! The Light Keeper™ security screws replace the factory screws and prevent the easy removal of your expensive lights.
Our unique security head screws are very difficult to remove without the special tool included in the kit. Screw head style may vary.
Pulled the bolts out with a ratchet and installed the screws with the tool provided in the ratchet. Took probably 10 minutes tops to make the swap. My tailgate locks and has a bed cover so I feel pretty good about their security. And I got it in the garage so I have that layer of security as well.
Peace of mind in a small plastic bag. Nothing is fool proof- but I have heard the stories of how easy it is to access the tailgate and thus the screws for the taillights. $1000 + each to replace- more if they cut the wire on the harness side.
