The lower A-arms are fabricated from 4130 material and MIG welded using fixture-built construction for consistent fitment and quality.
What spindle does this lower A-arm kit use?
The arms are designed to work with the factory Raptor spindle and upright.
What size uniballs are used in the lower A-arms?
The arms use a 1.5" uniball at the spindle connection and 1" uniballs at the frame side. FK bearings are used throughout the kit.
What are the uniball spacers made from?
The mounting spacers are machined from 17-4 stainless steel.
Does this kit work with the 2024 Raptor dual live valve shocks?
Yes. The arms were updated so they are approved to work with the dual live valve shock setup released on the 2024 Raptor, and they still fit every Gen 3 truck from 2021 on.
Can I use the factory coilover shocks?
Yes. The lower arms are designed to work with the factory coilover shocks.
Can I use aftermarket stock replacement coilovers?
Yes. The arms can also be used with aftermarket stock replacement coilover shocks.
Do the lower arms include steering stops?
Yes. The arms include billet machined steering stops that are welded into the arm and designed around the factory spindle geometry.
What do the steering stops do?
The built-in steering stops help limit steering travel and reduce the potential for excessive load on the steering rack.
Can I add bypass shocks later?
Yes. The arms are designed to allow a 3" bypass shock to be added using the optional upper shock mount kit and specific 3" shock layout.
Can I add a bump stop kit later?
Yes. The arms come with the front bump stop plate welded in place, allowing the weld-on bump stop kit to be added later.
Can I use the factory sway bar with these lower arms?
No. These fabricated lower arms will not work with the factory sway bar. A Foutz Motorsports tunable sway bar kit is available specifically for use with these arms.
What sway bar options are available?
The tunable sway bar system is available with either a 1" or 1.25" diameter sway bar and uses custom bent sway bar arms.
Can I reuse the factory lower A-arm mounting bolts?
Yes. The factory frame mounting bolts can be reused. Upgraded bolts are also available when the lower A-arm frame support plate kits are installed.
What is included with the standard lower A-arm kit?
The standard kit includes both fabricated lower A-arms with FK uniballs installed, 17-4 stainless steel spacers, and two 12-point 5/8" spindle uniball bolts.
