Stock ride height, no lift

A fixed-length bar is all you need, and it is the simpler part. See the billet panhard bar with Ultra-Flex joints.

Lifted, leveled, spring spacers or taller springs

This is the bar. Any change in rear ride height moves the axle laterally, and only an adjustable bar brings it back to center. If you have added spacers, Geiser or Eibach springs, or any rear lift, you need length adjustment.

Long travel build with a relocated panhard mount

Long travel geometry moves the panhard bar mounting points, so it takes the longer bar built for that geometry — see the adjustable 41.5" panhard bar.

How do I know my axle is off-center?

Look at the gap between tire and fender lip on each side from directly behind the truck. If one side is visibly tighter than the other, the axle has shifted. On the road it shows up as the truck feeling like it is tracking slightly sideways, and the rear tires wearing unevenly.

We build the adjustable Gen 3 panhard bar two ways. Same 1.5" chromoly tube, same MIG welded construction, same texture black powder coat, same adjustment, and both bolt straight on. The joint is the only difference, and it is a real one.

This bar — forged Johnny Joint

A forged 1" Johnny Joint rod end on the adjustable end and a Johnny Joint assembly welded into the fixed end. The urethane liner inside the joint takes the edge off vibration and noise that a bare metal joint passes straight into the cab, and the joint rebuilds rather than getting thrown away. This is the one to pick for a lifted truck that still spends most of its life on pavement.

The alternative — FK heim joints

The heim joint version uses an FK rod end and an FK uniball — metal on metal, no liner, no give. It locates the axle more precisely than anything else and passes through more of what the axle is doing. Pick that one for a race-minded build where feedback is the point.

Nothing here needs to be welded, cut or fabricated. The bar comes off the bench finished and goes onto the truck as it is.

The Gen 3 rear end is a five link. Four trailing arms control the axle fore and aft, and one part — the panhard bar — is the only thing holding it side to side. Everything lateral goes through that single bar.

Ford builds it as a stamped part with a rubber bushing at each end. Rubber is there to keep noise out of the cab, and it does that well. What it does not do is hold a position. Load the rear end in a corner or land the truck and those bushings compress, the axle steps sideways, and the truck feels like it is steering from the back.

A chromoly bar on forged joints removes that compliance without giving up all the isolation, because the urethane liner still absorbs the high frequency noise the rubber bushing was there to kill.

Fits the Gen 3 and Gen 3.5 Ford F-150 Raptor, model years 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, including the Raptor R.

The Raptor R shares the rear suspension architecture of the V6 truck, so the bar fits it unchanged. Built for the factory panhard bar mounting points at the frame and the axle — a long travel build that relocates those mounts needs the 41.5" bar instead.

Bolt-on. No welding, no cutting, no fabrication. The bar arrives fully welded and finished, and it uses the factory panhard bar locations at the frame and at the axle.

Set the length with the truck at its finished ride height, on the ground and settled, not hanging on a lift — measuring at full droop will send the axle the wrong way. Measure from a fixed point on the frame to the same point on each side of the axle, adjust, then tighten the jam nut against the rod end.

Is a panhard bar the same thing as a track bar?

Yes. Panhard bar, track bar and lateral link all describe the same part — the single bar that holds the rear axle centered side to side under the truck.

Do I need an adjustable panhard bar after lifting my Raptor?

Yes. Raising the rear of a Gen 3 Raptor swings the axle sideways, because the panhard bar travels through an arc rather than straight up and down. An adjustable bar is what re-centers it. Even a spring spacer is enough to move it.

Does this require any welding?

No. The bar ships fully welded and ready to install. It bolts to the factory panhard bar mounting points at the frame and the axle with hand tools.

Does this fit a 2025 or 2026 Raptor?

Yes. It fits 2021 through 2026 Gen 3 and Gen 3.5 trucks, Raptor R included.

What is a Johnny Joint and why use one here?

It is a forged, rebuildable joint with a urethane liner between the ball and the housing. Compared with a bare metal rod end it stays quieter as it wears and passes less vibration into the truck, which is why it suits a Raptor that still gets driven on the road every day.

Is the joint serviceable?

Yes. The Johnny Joint rebuilds rather than being replaced whole, so the bar itself stays on the truck. Service parts are listed under Serviceable Parts.

Does this replace the rear trailing arms too?

No. The panhard bar is the fifth link. The four trailing arms are separate parts — see Gen 3 Raptor Rear Links & Panhard Bar.

Where is it made?

Fabricated, welded and finished in-house at our facility in Mesa, Arizona, USA.

On a lifted Gen 3 the panhard bar is the first correction. The rest of the rear end is worth the same attention:

• Billet rear trailing arms — upper and lower, on uniballs or Ultra-Flex joints, 15" of rear wheel travel with the factory shock
• Rear bump stop kit and rear limit strap kit — the cheapest real gain on the truck
• Rear link frame mount gusset kit — the factory link mounts are the known crack point on a truck that gets landed
• Long travel rear kit — 19" of rear wheel travel, and the panhard mount moves with it
