Description
Fabricated rear shackle hangers for the 2010–2014 Gen 1 Ford F-150 Raptor, built to replace the stock hangers that are notoriously prone to cracking. Made from 3/16" steel, thicker than stock, they install in the stock mounting location.
Stock shackle hangers become more likely to crack as they age and fatigue. These hangers have a wider connection and more gusset area, spreading the load over more of the frame so the mount lasts longer.
Why Replace The Stock Hangers
The shackle hanger is the bracket on the frame that the rear leaf spring shackle hangs from. Every bump the rear axle takes is fed through it into the frame. Over years of off-road use, that repeated loading fatigues the stock hanger, and the Gen 1 Raptor's stock hangers are known for cracking.
The FMI hanger is thicker than stock and has a wider connection to the frame with more gusset area. Spreading the load over a larger area of the frame reduces the stress at any one point, which helps the hanger and the frame last.

Fitment
Fits the Gen 1 Ford F-150 Raptor, model years 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, in the stock rear shackle hanger location.
Works with the stock factory shackle, or with Foutz Motorsports fabricated rear shackles in stock length or extended versions.
Installation
This is a weld-on kit and must be installed by a qualified fabricator. It reuses the factory shackle bolts.
