Foutz Motorsports 2" Front Leveling Collar Kit with Ride Height Sensor Connector Rods 2027 Ram 1500 TRX

The 2" collar provides a moderate increase in front ride height while maintaining the factory spring and shock setup. Installed below the lower spring perch, the collar adds preload to the factory coil spring to raise the front of the truck.

Because the factory ride height sensor position changes when the suspension height is changed, adjustable sensor rods are included so the sensor position can be corrected and fine-tuned after installation.

Adjustable Sensor Rod Settings

Starting connector rod length for the 2.0" collar: 129 mm. The rods adjust between 125 and 135 mm — do not adjust beyond that range.

Print the connector rod settings sheet at 1:1 scale and use the images on the document as a quick reference for setting the adjustable connector rod length.

How much lift does the 2" TRX collar provide?

The collar is designed to provide approximately 2" of additional front ride height. Actual ride height can vary depending on the truck's configuration.

Why does a 2" front lift on the 2027 Ram TRX need ride height connector rods?

The 2027 Ram TRX electronics do not tolerate more than 1.5" of front lift unless the ride height sensor location is corrected. It is a sensor location issue, not a clearance issue. The included adjustable connector rods reset the sensor position for the new front ride height.

Does the kit use the factory coil springs and shocks?

Yes. The factory front coil springs and shocks remain in place.

How do I set the ride height connector rods?

Before installing the collars, measure the sensor arm angle or mark its position with the truck sitting at ride height. Set each rod to 129 mm for the 2" collar, adjusting both ends evenly to keep equal thread engagement. After installation, roll the truck back and forth to settle the suspension, check the sensor arm against your mark, adjust if needed, then tighten the jam nuts. Every truck sits a little differently, so treat the starting length as a starting point.
