This 2.5" lift collar is designed specifically around the 2027 Ram TRX front suspension. The collar installs below the lower spring perch and adds preload to the factory coil spring while retaining the original coil springs and front shocks.

The included adjustable ride height sensor rods provide adjustment for the factory sensors after the front suspension height has been changed.

Adjustable Sensor Rod Settings

Starting connector rod length for the 2.5" collar: 126 mm. The rods adjust between 125 and 135 mm — do not adjust beyond that range.

Print the connector rod settings sheet at 1:1 scale and use the images on the document as a quick reference for setting the adjustable connector rod length.

How much front lift does this TRX collar provide?

The collar is designed to provide approximately 2.5" of additional front ride height. Final ride height may vary based on the vehicle configuration.

Why does a 2.5" front lift on the 2027 Ram TRX need ride height connector rods?

The 2027 Ram TRX electronics do not tolerate more than 1.5" of front lift unless the ride height sensor location is corrected. It is a sensor location issue, not a clearance issue. The included adjustable connector rods reset the sensor position for the new front ride height.

Will the factory suspension remain installed?

Yes. The collar is designed to work with the factory coil springs and front shocks.

How do I set the ride height connector rods?

Before installing the collars, measure the sensor arm angle or mark its position with the truck sitting at ride height. Set each rod to 126 mm for the 2.5" collar, adjusting both ends evenly to keep equal thread engagement. After installation, reinstall the front tires and tighten the lug nuts enough to drive. Start the truck and drive it forward and in reverse about 10–20 feet so the truck's computer opens the electronic valve in the shocks and the truck settles to its settled ride height. Check the sensor arm against your mark and adjust if needed, driving forward and in reverse again after each adjustment, then tighten the jam nuts. Every truck sits a little differently, so treat the starting length as a starting point.
