Description
A rear license plate backer for the 2021–2023 Gen 3 Ford Raptor, laser cut from 3/16" aluminum. It sits behind your existing license plate and protects the back of it from rocks.
There is an opening behind the rear bumper on the Raptor that exposes the back of the license plate. Rocks thrown up from under the truck hit it from behind and dent it. This plate closes off that exposure.
Why Back The Plate
Off-road, the tires throw rocks up under the truck. With the back of the license plate open behind the rear bumper, those rocks have a clear shot at it, and a thin plate dents easily from underneath.
The backer goes behind your existing license plate so the back side cannot be damaged.
