Description
Bolt-on reinforcement brackets for the rear pivot mounts of the front lower control arms on the 2021–2026 Gen 3 Ford F-150 Raptor. They strengthen the weak points at the rear mount and keep the lower arm alignment stable after hard hits.
The rear mount of the front lower arm is where the arm is frequently prone to bending when a front wheel takes a heavy impact. Once that mount moves, the alignment moves with it. These brackets reinforce it using the factory hardware, with no modifications.
What The Brackets Do
- Reinforce and stabilize front lower control arm (LCA) alignment
- Strengthen the weak points in the rear mounts of the LCA
- Prevent the LCA rear mounts from bending or breaking on hard hits
Why Reinforce The Rear Pivot
The front lower control arm pivots on a front mount and a rear mount. When a front wheel hits something hard, such as a rock or a square-edged hole, the load drives the wheel back and up, and much of that force ends up at the rear pivot mount.
That rear mount is the weak point. If it bends, the lower arm no longer sits where the alignment was set, and the truck can pull, wander or wear the front tires unevenly. Reinforcing the mount keeps the arm located where it belongs, hit after hit.
How They Are Built
The brackets are MIG welded for extra strength and powder coated in a textured hammer black finish.
Fitment
Fits the 2021–2026 Gen 3 Ford F-150 Raptor.
Works with the stock lower arm or the FMI fabricated lower control arm.
Installation
Bolt-on and easy to install. No modifications are needed, and the kit uses the factory hardware.
After installation: get your Raptor realigned once the brackets are installed, so you do not end up with poor tire wear on the front.
Questions
What problem do these brackets solve?
The rear mount of the front lower arm is prone to bending under heavy front wheel impacts. The brackets strengthen that mount so it holds its shape and the alignment stays put.
Do I need to modify anything to install them?
No. It is a bolt-on kit that uses the factory hardware.
Do I need an alignment afterwards?
Yes. Get the truck realigned once the brackets are installed to avoid poor front tire wear.
Which lower arms do they work with?
They work with the stock lower arm or the FMI fabricated lower control arm.
What finish are they?
Textured hammer black powder coat over MIG welded brackets.
