On a mid travel or long travel front end, the coilover carries the spring and its own damping, and the secondary bypass shock adds a second damper beside it. That second shock pushes and pulls against the chassis on every hit, so its upper mount has to be tied solidly into the frame.

The factory frame was never built with a mounting point for a second front shock. These towers give the bypass a dedicated mount on each side, welded to the frame so the damping load goes into the chassis structure.

Fits the Gen 3 Ford F-150 Raptor, model years 2021–2026, as an add-on to a Foutz Motorsports front mid travel or long travel kit.

It is only needed if your build runs a secondary bypass shock.

Welding to the frame is required as part of the installation, and it must be done by a qualified fabricator.

What does this kit do?

It adds the frame mounts for a secondary front bypass shock on a Gen 3 Raptor running one of our front mid travel or long travel kits.

Is it bolt-on?

No. The mounts weld to the frame, and the work must be done by a qualified fabricator.

What comes in the kit?

One right side and one left side mount.

Does it fit a 2025 or 2026 Raptor?

Yes. It fits Gen 3 F-150 Raptors from 2021 through 2026.

Do I need it if I am not running a bypass shock?

No. It is the add-on for builds that mount a secondary bypass shock.
