Description
Stock-location rear upper shock mounts that let a 2010–2014 Gen 1 Raptor or 2009–2014 F-150 frame run Gen 2 or Gen 3 rear shocks. Designed for a rear 5-link setup that follows the factory Gen 3 geometry.
Converting a Gen 1 truck to a Gen 3 style 5-link rear moves the axle onto new pickup points, and the shocks have to move with it. This kit puts the upper shock mount exactly where the Gen 3 truck has it, so a Gen 3 location shock works through its travel as designed.

Why The Shock Location Matters
A shock is chosen for a specific mounting position: its length, its angle and how far it compresses all depend on where the top and bottom mounts sit. Mount a Gen 3 shock somewhere else and it can top out, bottom out or work at the wrong angle.
This mount replicates the exact stock Gen 3 shock location on a Gen 1 frame, so you can run Gen 2 or Gen 3 rear shocks in the position they were built for. It is built to be much stronger and more durable, so the suspension performs reliably under demanding conditions.
