Description
A weld-in coil bucket conversion kit that updates a 2010–2014 Gen 1 Ford F-150 Raptor to fit 2017–2020 Gen 2 Raptor shocks. Made from 3/16" thick steel and MIG welded.
Gen 2 Raptor shocks do not fit the Gen 1 coil bucket as it leaves the factory. This kit is the conversion that lets a Gen 1 truck run them.
Why Convert The Coil Bucket
The coil bucket is the upper mount for the front coilover: it holds the top of the shock and takes the spring and damping load into the frame. If the shock you want to run does not match the bucket, it cannot be mounted properly.
This conversion replaces that mounting point with a fabricated weld-in bucket built for Gen 2 Raptor shocks, so a Gen 1 owner can step up to them. It will also work with any aftermarket kit that fits into the stock bucket.
