Read this before you choose a thickness. Getting it wrong costs you a spring, not just ride height.

• Plates over 3/4" require the FMI bump stop kit. Anything more than 3/4" needs the 2027 Ram TRX rear bump stop kit to work correctly.
• Maximum recommended stacked height: 1.75".
• Do NOT stack two 1" plates. That takes you past the limit and into spring bind.

The 3/4" plate is the stock application — it works with the factory setup as-is. The 1" plate is the one that requires the bump stop kit.

Changing rear ride height moves the axle sideways, because the panhard bar swings through an arc. If you are lifting the back of the truck, an adjustable panhard bar is what re-centers it.

The spring bucket is apart either way, so the rear bump stop kit is the obvious thing to fit at the same time — required anyway above 3/4".

The 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 TRX is a different generation and uses its own spacer kit. Ram did not build a TRX for 2025 or 2026, so a part listed for 2021-2024 does not carry forward to the 2027 truck.

How much lift do I actually get?

Between 1" and 1.75" depending on the plates used. 1.75" is the maximum recommended stacked height.

Which thickness should I order?

3/4" is the stock application and needs nothing else. 1" requires the FMI bump stop kit.

Can I stack two 1" plates for 2"?

No. That exceeds the 1.75" maximum and causes spring bind.

Does this change the spring rate?

No. It adds preload and ride height — the spring itself is unchanged. That is what makes it useful for a truck that sits low because it is loaded.

Do I need an adjustable panhard bar with it?

Strongly recommended. Lifting the rear pulls the axle off-center, and the adjustable bar is what brings it back.
