Will this work with aftermarket front shocks?
Not necessarily. The kit is designed around the stock front shock, and a larger aftermarket shock body can contact the tie rod — the same is true of the factory tie rod. Call us with your shock before ordering.
Why aluminum instead of steel?
6061-T6 hex stock machined to this section gives the strength the steering needs without the weight, and it lets us shape the tube for clearance rather than working around a round tube.
Are the boots included?
Yes — two urethane rack boots come in the kit. Sealing the rack is what keeps water and grit out of the steering, so they are not an optional extra.
Full kit or half kit?
This is the full tie rod. The half kit replaces the inner, rack-end section only and keeps the factory outer — a cheaper way to address the most common failure point.
Do I need an alignment afterward?
Yes. Anything that changes tie rod length changes toe, so plan on an alignment once the kit is installed.
Does this fit a 2021-2024 TRX?
