The lower control arm carries the wheel, the coil-over and most of the load going into the front suspension. On the RHO the factory lower arm is cast aluminum.

This arm is fabricated from 4130 and pivots on uniballs instead of the factory joints, with a 1.5" uniball at the spindle where the loads are highest. It keeps the factory spindle and the stock width, so it upgrades the strength and control of the front end without changing the truck's track.

The steering stops matter too. They are welded into the core of the arm and matched to the spindle geometry, so the steering hits a stop in the arm rather than the rack taking the load at full lock.

The arms have a built-in lower mount for a 3" bypass shock. Running one also needs an add-on upper shock mount kit and a special layout 3" shock.

The upper shock mount for the RHO is still in development and not available yet. Contact FMI for its current status.

Fits the 2025 and newer Ram 1500 RHO at stock width.

Reuse the factory a-arm mounting bolts at the frame, or use upgraded bolts if the truck also has frame support plate kits added at the lower a-arm mounts.

The arms alone will not mount to the factory sway bar. Additional parts are needed for the sway bar to function.

Does this change the width of the truck?

No. This is the stock-width arm, built to work with the factory spindle.

Can I keep my factory shocks?

Yes. The arm works with the stock factory coil-over or with aftermarket stock-replacement coil-overs.

Will the factory sway bar connect?

Not with the arms alone. Additional parts are needed for the sway bar to function.

Can I add a bypass shock?

The arms have built-in mounts for a 3" bypass shock. The matching upper shock mount for the RHO is still in development.

Do I need new frame bolts?

No. The factory a-arm bolts are reused, unless the truck has frame support plate kits, where upgraded bolts can be used.
