The panhard bar, also called a track bar, is what holds the rear axle centered under the truck side to side. It is mounted to the frame at one end and the axle at the other, so as ride height changes the bar swings through an arc and pulls the axle toward one side.

A fixed-length factory bar cannot correct for that. With a threaded Johnny Joint on the adjustable side, this bar's length can be set so the axle sits centered again at your new ride height.

Fits the 2025 and newer Ram 1500 RHO rear suspension. It is meant for trucks where the ride height has been changed and the rear axle needs to be re-centered.

Is a panhard bar the same as a track bar?

Yes. Same part, two names. It locates the rear axle side to side.

When do I need an adjustable panhard bar?

When you change the rear ride height. The adjustable end lets you re-center the axle at the new height.

Why a Johnny Joint?

Its urethane liner helps keep vibration and noise down, and the joint is serviceable when it wears.
