Description
A fabricated Watts link relocation kit for the rear suspension of the 2024 and newer Ford Ranger Raptor. Drop brackets at the frame and a center relocation and support mount at the back of the axle move the Watts link to suit a long travel rear.
This is the add-on that completes the Ranger Raptor full long travel rear suspension setup. Paired with our full long travel thru-the-bed shock mount kit, it lets the rear reach about 15" of wheel travel.
What Is In The Kit
- Right and left frame mounts that relocate the Watts link mount location
- Center Watts link relocation and support mount
Watts links are not included. The kit works with the factory links or with the FMI billet Watts link kit (see below).
Why Relocate The Watts Link
The Watts linkage is what keeps the Ranger Raptor's rear axle centered side to side as it moves up and down. Its mounting points are placed for the factory amount of wheel travel.
A long travel rear asks the axle to move much further, and the linkage has to follow it through that bigger range. This kit drops the frame-side mounts and relocates and supports the center pivot at the back of the axle, so the Watts link keeps working as the travel grows.
The kit was designed around the stock Watts linkage geometry. It moves the mounts; it does not change how the linkage works.
Stock Or Billet Watts Links
Because the kit keeps the stock geometry, you can reuse the Watts links that came on your Ranger Raptor.
Adding wheel travel increases the loads on the suspension components, so we suggest the stronger billet links with this kit: the Foutz Motorsports billet Watts suspension link kit.
Fitment
Fits the 2024 and newer Ford Ranger Raptor.
It is built as part of the full long travel rear suspension setup. The 15" wheel travel figure applies when it is paired with our full long travel thru-the-bed shock mount kit.
Installation
This is not a bolt-on kit. It requires fabrication and welding, and it should be installed by a qualified fabricator.
