Description
A four-piece aluminum underbody skid plate kit for the 2021–2024 Ram TRX, covering the front differential and steering area, transmission, crossmember and transfer case. It is the same construction we ran on our Gen 2 Ford Raptor race truck: 3/16" aluminum, cut to fit the TRX, and all bolt-on.
The TRX transmission crossmember can bend in heavy rock with the stock guards in place. This kit adds a crossmember support and mount plate that adds substantial strength there, along with plate under the transmission and transfer case.
What Is In The Kit
- Center front plate: covers the front differential and steering area
- Main mid plate: covers the transmission and protects the crossmember
- Transfer case guard: covers the rear exposed section of the transfer case
- Transmission crossmember support plate and rear skid mount

Why Upgrade From The Stock Guards
The transmission and transfer case sit low under the truck, and their housings are not designed to take a direct hit. A skid plate gives rocks and ledges something to slide across, so the impact goes into the plate and its mounts instead of into a case.
On the TRX, the transmission crossmember also needs attention. With the stock guards it can easily bend in heavy rock. The support and mount plate in this kit adds substantial strength to that crossmember, and the rest of the kit covers the drivetrain from the front differential back to the transfer case.

Fitment
Fits the Ram TRX, model years 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, with the stock front bumper and stock front skid plate.
