At full droop

Without a limit strap, the shock is the only thing that stops the front wheel from dropping. We have seen several trucks rip out the top cap of the shock mount off-road from excessive top out pressure, and the same load is behind the front top out noise you hear going over a speed bump or when the front suspension comes off the ground. It matters even more on a truck running aftermarket springs. The strap limits top out, so you are not relying on the shock alone to stop the droop.

At full compression

A bump stop takes up the last of the travel so the suspension does not slam into the bottom. The 2.5" OD, 2.5" travel bump stops in this kit provide full bottom out protection.

• Straps: 12" long, 4 layers of military grade webbing, with black plated steel mounting tabs at each end. Built to withstand abuse without the stretching and wear you get from lower-grade straps.
• Lower arm brackets: secure around the front of the stock lower control arm, MIG welded in-house and powder coated in hammer black for durability and strength.
• Bump stop pad: built in, and engineered to work with the stock lower arm.

Fits the 2017–2020 Gen 2 Ford F-150 Raptor with the factory stock lower a-arm.

Not compatible with Race Series front shocks or any remote reservoir shock that requires mounting on the frame.

The lower brackets bolt on to the cast aluminum stock lower arm. The bump stop mount must be welded to the frame, so this kit should be installed by a qualified welder or fabricator.

Choose FOX, King or ADS front bump stops. Each is a 2.5" OD bump stop with 2.5" of travel.

Does this work with my stock lower arms?

Yes. The kit is designed for the factory stock lower a-arm on the Gen 2 Raptor.

Is any welding required?

Yes. The bump stop mount welds to the frame. Have the kit installed by a qualified welder or fabricator.

Which bump stops can I choose?

FOX, King or ADS, all 2.5" OD with 2.5" of travel.

Will it work with my remote reservoir shocks?

Not if the reservoir has to mount on the frame. The kit is also not compatible with Race Series front shocks.

Do I need limit straps with aftermarket springs?

That is where a limit strap matters most. The strap stops the droop so the shock and its top mount do not have to.
