The factory stamped coil bucket concentrates load at its frame-side mounting point. Over time the structure cannot spread that load well enough, which leads to separation, cracking and deformation where the bucket meets the frame.

Is this a reinforcement or a full replacement?

A full replacement. The factory stamped-steel coil bucket is removed and this fabricated assembly is welded in its place.

Do I still need the separate corner gusset?

No. A lower corner gusset is built into this assembly, replacing the need for the standalone corner gusset upgrade.

Will it work with my FMI mid-travel front kit?

Yes. It works with both Gen 2 front mid-travel kits, with the fabricated or billet upper arm, and with the Gen 2 fabricated bypass shock tower add-on.

Is it bolt-on?

No. Removing the factory bucket and welding to the frame are required, and it must be installed by a qualified fabricator.

Do I need an alignment afterwards?

Yes. Proper suspension alignment and setup are required after installation.
